MakerStreet Publisher
Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to MakerStreet Publisher at https://publisher.makerstreet.in (the “Service”), operated by MakerStreet. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
MakerStreet Publisher is a web application that helps you create and manage social publishing content. You can select a video in the browser, generate and edit captions and related copy, connect social accounts, and publish to Instagram when you choose to do so.
Original video files remain on your device until you explicitly publish. Publishing uploads temporary media to object storage and uses a background worker to call Instagram on behalf of the account you connected. YouTube may be connected for account identity; YouTube publishing is not currently available in the publish interface.
2. Accounts
You must provide an email address and a password of at least eight characters. You are responsible for the credentials you choose and for activity on your account. Notify us if you believe your account is compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms or of a platform’s rules.
Email verification is not currently required. You must be able to receive mail at the address you register if you later request support or deletion.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of videos, captions, and other content you submit. You grant MakerStreet a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service: storing project metadata and generated copy, running transcription/analysis/generation you request, holding temporary publish files, and sending media and captions to Instagram when you publish.
You represent that you have the rights needed to use the content and to publish it to the accounts you connect, including any people you tag or invite as collaborators.
4. Connected platforms
Instagram connect uses Meta’s Instagram Login. We request instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish so we can identify the professional account you authorize and publish content you submit. You also agree to Instagram’s and Meta’s terms, policies, and platform rules. We do not control Instagram’s availability, review, rate limits, or how Instagram displays published Reels.
You may disconnect a social account in the Service at any time. Disconnecting stops further publishing from MakerStreet Publisher with that connection. It does not delete posts already published on the platform.
If you connect YouTube, Google’s terms apply to that connection. Upload scopes may be requested even though in-product YouTube publishing is not yet enabled.
5. AI-generated copy
Optional transcription, analysis, and caption generation use third-party AI and speech-to-text providers. Outputs can be inaccurate or inappropriate. You must review and edit content before publishing. The Service does not auto-publish generated copy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse another person’s Instagram, YouTube, or MakerStreet Publisher account
- attempt to extract access tokens, bypass authorization, or attack the Service
- upload or publish content you do not have the right to publish
- use the Service to violate Instagram, Meta, Google, or applicable law
- interfere with the background worker, storage, or other users’ workspaces
7. Availability and changes
We provide the Service as-is. Features, supported platforms, and capacity may change. Publishing depends on Instagram, object storage, the database, and the worker process remaining available. We do not guarantee that every publish attempt will succeed.
8. Fees
The Service does not currently charge in-app subscription fees. If that changes, we will present pricing before you are charged. You remain responsible for any costs charged by Meta, Google, or other platforms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MakerStreet is not liable for lost profits, lost content, unsuccessful publishes, platform enforcement by Instagram or Google, or AI output quality. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service (currently none), except where liability cannot be limited.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete projects in the application and disconnect social accounts. To request deletion of remaining account and workspace data, follow the Data Deletion instructions. We may stop providing the Service or an account if these Terms are breached or if we shut down the product.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
